How It Started

One experience changed everything.

I started Low Stress Cyber™ for one simple reason — I've seen what cybercrime does to real people. I've watched friends and family members fall victim to scams and identity fraud firsthand. It's heartbreaking to see someone get taken advantage of simply for using the internet. One of those people was my own parent, who became a victim of identity theft — and that experience is a big part of why I chose to study cybersecurity in the first place. It lit a fire in me to protect the people I care about.

As a student in cybersecurity, I stay on top of new scams, emerging threats, and the methods online criminals are using right now. What I kept noticing was a gap — there's a huge number of people online who don't have access to current, easy-to-understand security information. I decided to be the person who bridges that gap. The only way to a safer internet is having informed users.

So I built the resource I wish had existed for my family. Low Stress Cyber™ is free, always will be, and is made to be shared — because the best protection is a community that looks out for each other.

My Approach

Education over enforcement.

Many governments have laws and agencies dedicated to fighting cybercrime, and they do meaningful work — especially against domestic threat actors. But for foreign attackers, the story is different. Unless the country a cybercriminal operates from is fully willing to cooperate with international legal action, chances are they continue their malicious activity unchallenged. The legal system alone cannot protect everyone.

My vision for a healthier future starts with a healthier internet — one without constant deception, without online threats targeting undeserving people, and without the exploitation of those who simply don't know what to look for.

My approach to suppressing online threat actors is simple: erase their incentive. Cybercriminals thrive on unaware users. Their income, their success, and their motivation all depend on people not knowing any better. Take that away — through education, awareness, and accessible information — and you take away their power.
